I don't know a whole lot about this machine. I can tell you some of its history. About 20 yrs. ago my brother Jerry, his son Jamie, and my dad Harvey, dug this racer out of an old chicken coop in Blakesley, OH. Jamie told me the only thing they could see of it was the top of the steering wheel. It was raced in days past and Dad bought it from the farmers wife. I wish I knew the rest of its history as it would no doubt be very interesting.
Dad had been restoring antique cars since I was a kid. As a matter of fact I helped him and Ward Harvey pull his '23 T Touring out of a creek bed in Evansport, OH when I was about 9 yrs. old. I still remember scraping the wooden spokes with broken glass. A lot of folks don't know glass will become quite dull when scraping wood spokes and has to be re-broken to maintain its edge.
Anyway, Dad was one of the rabid folks that spend all their waking spare time living, breathing, touring, restoring Ts and Bs. He takes them down to the frame and bearings and remanufactures them, or he used to. He is gone now. Jerry is gone too and Mom and I are left with memories.
Dad was also into Model T & B speed equipment and this machine has some signs of it. I just talked to Ward and he says it has a Frontenac Head. It wore a different engine (loaner T engine) for years while the current one was in process. We swapped it out just before he passed.

We are considering selling this machine.

I made a road trip today to pick up the parts we sold this week and while I was there the camera captured a few more shots of the racer's parts. The last two pictures are of the original exhaust manifold/collector that was dug out of the chicken coop with the body.  I hope the distributor set up is plain enough for you folks to see what was done there. I also got a couple of shots of the steering box and foot controls. The floor pan is now visible and please ignore the dust on the front end shock detail. I will severely reprimand the photographer for that over sight! By the way the body is original, steel, and not perfect, just as close as dad could get it.

We are selling this machine. 18,500.00 obo
